Putin hopes Russia and Afghanistan will continue cooperation

During his meeting with Afghan President Hamid Karzai Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he hopes Russia and Afghanistan will conitinue mutual cooperation, ITAR-TASS reports. 

The Russian president also praised Afghanistan's success in the spheres of social and economic development.

"Thanks to you Afghanistan has achieved a lot," Russian president told his Afghan counterpart, whose term in office ends this year.
