Ukrainian law enforcers isolate rebel-occupied areas

Ukrainian law enforcers have isolated areas occupied by rebels in the eastern part of Ukraine, said Andriy Parubiy, the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, RIA Novosti reports.11 districts from the northern part of the Luhansk Oblast to Sloviansk are under the control of Ukrainian forces. The west and the south of the Donetsk Oblast are protected by control posts, according to Parubiy.The security chief explained that the measures were taken to secure the presidential polls of May 25 in the eastern regions.
