Russian school leavers mark Day of Farewell Bell

Traditionally, first-graders and teachers congratulate them.The Farewell Bell was first initiated by Georgy Aseyev, the principal of a Moscow school, in 1948. Soon the tradition spread to all other Russian schools.The United State Exams begin a few days after the Farewell Bell, ITAR-TASS reports. Geography and Literature exams will take place on May 26th. Russian language – May 29th. Foreign languages – June 2nd. Mathematics – June 5th. Informatics, Biology, History – June 9th. Social studies and Chemistry – June 11th.
