The EU needs Turkey, Mevlut Cavusoglu says

Mevlut Cavusoglu, the Turkish Minister for European Union Affairs, states that the EU needs Turkey as much as Turkey needs the EU. He says that Turkey will continue to fulfil its duties on joining the European Union and negotiate on the issue. The talks began in 2005.

Earlier, Prime Minister Erdogan noted that “the EU is still misinforming Turkey (on the accession issue) and the situation dissatisfies Turkey.” According to vice-premier Bulent Arynch, previously 75% of the population voted for joining the EU, but at the moment the number has fallen to 20%.
