Iran bans Instagram

An Iranian Court has banned access to Instagram in the republic. The decision was made in a closed trial. Interfax informs that no details have been reported.

It is interesting that even Supreme Leader Ayatollah Hamenei and President Rouhani have Instagram accounts. The Facebook and Twitter social networks, as well as YouTube video-hosting, have previously been banned in Iran.
