The Russian authorities rely on the 'contributions' of Muslims in
fighting extremists, who carried out a terrorist attack in the central
market of Vladikavkaz during the sacred holiday of Eid al-Fitr,
Premier Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with the head of Russian
Mufti Council Ravil Gaynutdin, RIA Novosti reports.

Putin reminded that Eid al-Fitr is traditionally associated with peace
and consent. He said that such people have nothing sacred and should
be punished.
