Protests resume in Istanbul

Protests have resumed in Istabnbul, the Turkish newspaper Milliyet reports.

A group of forty people gathered in the Okmeydany square and starting throwing stones at the police. Police used tear gas to disperse the demonstrators.

Recently a rally took place in Istanbul in connection with the deaths of miners in the province of Manisa.
