Bloodshed prevented in Abkhazia

Abkhaz President Alexander Ankvab said at the Security Council today that bloodshed was prevented yesterday when opposition occupied the Presidential Administration.

Abkhaz law enforcers made a joint declaration of support for President Ankvab. The president himself noted that the government was doing all it could to keep the situation peaceful.
