Russian and U.S. chief diplomats discuss Ukrainian crisis

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry have had a telephone conversation and discussed the situation in Ukraine in the context of the May 25 presidential polls, RIA Novosti reports.

Lavrov emphasized the importance of ending the operation in the south-eastern parts of Ukraine and starting a dialogue.
