The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, says the situation surrounding crime remains tense in Crimea, which is now considered by the Russian authorities to be a part of the Russian Federation.

 


According to the official, the law-enforcement agencies are going to enhance their efforts to combat organized crime and corruption.
