Rasulov couple jailed for attempted murder of police officer in Moscow

Magomed Rasulov has been sentenced to 18 years in prison and his wife Khalimat to 12.5 years by the Moscow City Court today, ITAR-TASS reports.

The two were pronounced guilty of attempting to murder a police officer at the Matveyevsky Market in Moscow in mid-2013. The prosecutor wanted Khalimat to spend 13 years in jail. Police officer Anton Kudryashov did not demand any compensation from his attackers.
