Donetsk rebels disclaim responsibility for lost OSCE observers

The rebels in the Eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk disclaim responsibility for the fate of the lost OSCE observers. Contact with the mission was lost on May 26. Self-proclaimed mayor of Sloviansk Vyacheslav Ponomaryov is quoted by RBC as saying that he has no information concerning the mission.

According to the chairman of the Supreme Council of the self-proclaimed People's Republic of Donetsk, Denis Pushilin, the rebels in the region's capital, Donetsk, also have no data concerning the OSCE observers.
