Iran warns against intervention in Syria

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif warns Western powers against possible military intervention in the Syrian conflict, Azerbaijani news agency Trend reports.

According to the Iranian minister, such an intervention would bring the country to a humanitarian catastrophe, expansion of extremism and enhancement of ethnic conflicts.
