Kazakhstan about to join WTO

Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrisov said at a press conference on signing of the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty that the country was close to joining the WTO, Trend reports.

He noted that Kazakhstan and Belarus will continue efforts to become members of the organization. In his words, Kazakhstan plans to conclude WTO membership talks with Russia and the U.S. in Geneva.

Idrisov added that Kazakhstan would be glad to help Belarus in the process.
