Russia to introduce resolution on Ukraine at UNSC today

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said after talks with his counterpart from Mauritania Ahmed Ould Teguedi that Russia will introduce a resolution on Ukraine at the UNSC today, ITAR-TASS reports.

The resolution will focus on ending violence in Ukraine and encourage negotiations, basing on the Geneva Declaration. Lavrov added that Russia was concerned about the situation in the south-east of Ukraine.
