Prince Felipe becomes King of Spain

Spanish King Juan Carlos has resigned. Prince Felipe of Asturias will now ascend the throne, according to Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.

The king himself was criticized for secretly going on a safari in Africa at the government’s expense when the country was in a grave economic condition.
