German leader to visit Georgia

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has accepted Georgian Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili’s invitation to visit the country, ITAR-TASS reports.

The visit will be made before spring 2015. Georgia will hold the Georgian-German economic forum soon to intensify and extend cooperation of the two states.

Garibashvili said at a press conference with Merkel in Berlin yesterday that Georgia had made many steps to improve relations with Russia and achieved success.
