OSCE General Secretary avoids using 'occupied territories' term for Abkhazia, S.Ossetia

OSCE General Secretary Mark Perren de Brishambo avoided calling
Abkhazia and South Ossetia 'occupied territories', Trend reports.

In an exclusive interview with the Georgian TV company 'Rustavi-2', he
said that as a chairman of OSCE he cannot use such a term and should
take into account the positions of both sides. The chairman said that
most importantly the process of resolving the conflict, improvement of
relations and cooperation should continue.

He also commented on the S-300 AA complexes in Abkhazia, saying that
the modernization of arms during the negotiation process complicates
the process of talks.
