Obama to protect Eastern Europe

U.S. President Barack Obama has called the protection of Poland and other allies in Central and Eastern Europe a sacred mission of the U.S., RIA Novosti reports.Obama and his Polish counterpart Bronislaw Komorowski met Polish and U.S. F-16 pilots at Okecie Airport.Obama will have talks with Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski and Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The U.S. leader will meet leaders of Central and Eastern European states to discuss the Ukraine crisis, the positions of Russia, security in the region, energy security and preparations for the September summit of NATO.
