Yerevan-Tbilisi road opened

Armen Gevorkyan, vice prime minister and the minister for territorial administration of Armenia, said at the government session today that the Yerevan-Tbilisi road blocked by a landslide yesterday was open. He said that specialists had been dispatched last evening and they had cleared the Vanadzor-Alaverdi road at 1.00am, Armenia today reports.

The landslides on the night of June 3-4 blocked the roads Vanadzor-Alaverdi, Goris-Kapan from Armenia to Iran, Dzoraguch-Kurtan in the Lori Province. The landslides were caused by heavy rain.
