Crimean bridge to run over Tuzla Island

 

Rosavtodor Head Sergey Kelbakh said that it would be better to build the bridge over the Kerch Strait over the Tuzla Island, RIA Novosti reports.The Russian Transportation Ministry needs the bridge to connect the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea. There have been four variants of the bridge: Severny, Zhukovsky, Yenikalsky and Tuzlinsky. Specialists considered development of Port Kavkaz and the railway. The Zhukovsky and the Tuzlinsky variants were picked.
