Azerbaijan promises to back Russia at OSCE PA

Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov promised his Russian counterpart Sergey Naryshkin to support Russia at the Baku session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in late June, ITAR-TASS reports.

Asadov emphasized that Azerbaijan paid special attention to development of bilateral relations with Russia. In his words, their ties have reached a level of strategic partnership.

Naryshkin said that Russia was interested in extending the strategic partnership with Azerbaijan. Naryshkin represents Russia at the OSCE PA session.
