Syria's Assad meets Iranian MP

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has met with Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Parliament, Trend reports.

The parties discussed the recent presidential election in Syria. In the framework of the meeting the Iranian lawmaker voiced the Islamic Republic's full support for the Syrian government.
