Russia, EU, Ukraine to renew gas talks on June 11

 

Russia, the EU and Ukraine will have the fifth round of gas talks on June 11, ITAR-TASS reports.Brussels sees opportunities for a compromise between Moscow and Kiev.The previous round of talks was held in Brussels on June 2. Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak, European Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger and Ukrainian Minister for Energy and Coal Industry Yuri Prodan took part in the meeting. The sides agreed not to turn the dispute into a case. Russia will continue supplying Ukraine with gas until the next round of trilateral consultations.
