Turnout at South Ossetian elections is high, observers claim

The turnout at Sunday's parliamentary elections in the Georgian breakaway republic of South Ossetia is high, Russian observers are quoted as saying. According to South Ossetian law, the elections are valid if voter turnout hits 50 percent.
