Iran and Afghanistan to form free economic zone

 

Iranian Economic Attache Mohammad Mehdi Javanmard said that Iran and Afghanistan were planning to form a joint company in Chah Bahar, Trend reports.He noted the importance of strengthening markets on the Afghan border to simplify access to markets of Central Asia. Trade turnover of Iran and Afghanistan exceeds $2 billion a year and continues rising. Most imports in Afghanistan come from Iran.
