Stability in Caucasus to be discussed in GenevaThe situation on the borders between Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Georgia, as well as stability in the region will be discussed by co-chairmen of the Geneva discussions on security and stability in the South Caucasus, which will be held from June 17-18. It will bring together representatives of Abkhazia, Georgia, Russia, USA, South Ossetia, as well as the UN, OSCE and EU. The Russian delegation will be headed by the State Secretary, Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin.Participants will examine possible joint action to prevent and respond to incidents in the area of ​​South Ossetian-Georgian border, as well as the need for a clear delimitation of interstate borders. Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in the Caucasus have been regularly organized since October 2008.
