Light electric transport will connect Baku and Sumgait

 

The deputy minister of transport of Azerbaijan Musa Panakhov announced that light electric transport will run between Baku and Sumgait."Now in the ministry of transport such an opportunity is being considered," he noted. "On this site of the route there is a high volume of passenger traffic that demands consideration of new options and projects."According to him, active work on improving the public transport system, which assumes an increase in the level of passenger traffic, is being carried out.In particular, delivery to Baku of a large quantity of buses and taxi cabs that will also promote a growth of quality of the passenger traffic is being provided, Trend reports.The distance between the cities is 35 km.
