Silk Road Rally started today in Saint-Petersburg

The Silk Road Rally Dakar 2010 started today at 9.00 from Palace
Square in Saint-Petersburg. The route is over 4,500 km long and will
last nine days. The rally finishes in Sochi on the 18th of September.
48 cars and 16 trucks are taking part in the rally. The participants
will ride through various climate zones: Northern and Central Russia,
the Caucasus and the Black Sea coast.
