Vestnik Kavkaza discussed the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships held in Baku with the coach of the French national team, Adriana Dunavska.

According to the French coach, she was impressed by the organization of the 30th European championships. "Today I saw how people are trying to make something new, while organizing such an event. I admit that here in Baku we saw something different," she said.

'For instance, here they don't use CDs or other data carriers, they download everything on laptops. It's very simple and convenient," the French coach said.

Dunavska also said that unfortunately she had to miss the opening ceremony. "I am afraid I did not see the opening ceremony, because we had to prepare for our performance. Many people don't know this, but the preparations start three hours before the performance," she said.

For the same reason, the French gymnasts had no chance to meet other athletes. "We were all very busy," Dunavska said. "Of course we will watch those who have not performed yet, it will be interesting," she added.

The coach also praised the organization of the event. "I am fascinated. These people are working really hard to move in the right way to be a part of European civilization," Dunavska said.
