Gazprom to demand $4.5 billion from NaftogazThe Ukrainian company Naftogaz will have to defend itself in the Stockholm Arbitration Court. Gazprom has not only switched Ukraine to a prepayment arrangement for gas, but has also filed a lawsuit at the European court for $4.5 billion.Gazprom accused Naftogaz of violation of the contract signed on the 19th of January, 2009, debts for supplied gas, according to the contract, and absence of payments for current supplies.
