The prime minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, found a positive angle in the number of districts in yesterday's municipal elections in which a winner wasn't announced, leading to a second round of voting being required."A second round is possible in several districts. Our main task was to accustom the population to democratic elections …We understand that it is connected with additional expenditure, but, I consider that we will be able to get more benefit and good thanks to this precedent. It will be a precedent which will bring big benefits to the development of our country. Therefore these costs are absolutely justified," News Georgia quotes Garibashvili.
