Kyrgyz opposition demands change of government

Beknazarov, ex-attorney-general of Kyrgyzstan, now one of the leaders of the opposition, spoke at a rally in riot-ridden Narin, reports Interfax, referring to a source in the civic organisation in Narin region. According to the source, Beknazarov said that "seizing power is not the main thing. The main thing is  into to change government in the country." Beknazarov also said that at that time he and his colleagues were preparing for leaving for Bishkek.

Meanwhile every 5 minutes people wounded during the clashes between the opposition and the forces of law and order are brought to hospitals. The country has declared a state of emergency, and in Bishkek has been declared  a curfew from 22.00 to 6.00, reports  Itar-Tass, referring to the news agency Kabar.
