Employees of Turkish Consulate evacuated in Iraq

Employees of Turkey's Consulate in Basra, Iraq, have been evacuated, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu says in a statement.

The diplomats have been sent to Kuwait, Professor Davutoglu says.

The decision to relocate the consulate has been made amid increasing tensions in different regions of Iraq.
