Interest rate in Georgia remains at 4 %

The National Bank of Georgia has decided to leave its base interest rate at 4%. 

Since February this year the National Bank has step-by-step been distancing itself from its monetary policy. The Georgian National Bank expects inflation to achieve its target level of 5-6% in the second half of 2014.
