Krasnodar tourist’s body found on Kazbek

Yesterday a member of a tourist group in Krasnodar fell into a crevasse on Mount Kazbek at a height of 3700 m. The alpinist’s body was found by his friends at a height of 3200 m. At the moment a group of the North Ossetia search-and-rescue detachment is climbing to the scene of the tragedy.

Six people are involved in the search operation. At the moment weather conditions are inhibiting the use of aviation for work in the high-mountain region.
