Chingiz Guseinov withdraws from Union of Azerbaijani Writers

Today Chingiz Guseinov, one of the most popular contemporary writers of Azerbaijan, has handed in his resignation from the Union of Writers of the republic. The reason for his withdrawal from the union is the inattentive attitude to Guseinov by the organization: the writer wasn’t invited to the session where Anar was reelected the chairman of the Union.

“The organization didn’t dismiss me officially. And I received no congratulations from the organization on my 85th birthday,” he added.
