Police officer killed in Makhachkala

A car carrying the head of the Interior Ministry's anti-terrorist
department of the North Caucasian Federal District, Lieutenant-colonel
Gapal Gajiev, was killed when an unidentified gunman opened automatic
fire at him from a car in Makhachkala, Gazeta.ru reports..
