Ukraine says Russian check-point was attacked by rebels

The Ukrainian Border Guards said in a statement that the Russian check-point in Novoshakhtinsk had been attacked by the rebels rather than by the Ukrainian military. A Russian officer has been injured recently as unknown persons opened fire at the Russian check-point. 

According to the Ukrainian Border Guards, a number of Ukrainian officers have been injured as well.
