The European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships which took place in Baku was marked by an atmosphere of festival and beauty.  Gymnasts from 33 countries participated in the Championships. An absolute leader of the championships is traditionally the Russian national team headed by Irina Vinner-Usmanova.
