Moscow and Tbilisi to hold consultations in connection with Georgia's association with the EU

Moscow and Tbilisi will hold expert consultations on trade and economic issues between Russia and Georgia in connection with the forthcoming signing of the  Association Agreement with the EU. The agreement was reached during a telephone conversation today between Russian State Secretary and Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin and the Envoy of the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Abashidze, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement."They discussed issues on the bilateral agenda, including holding expert consultations on trade and economic issues in the context of the forthcoming signing of the association agreement between Georgia and the European Union," RIA Novosti quotes the statement.
