Special operation undertaken in Makhachkala

A special operation took place in Makhachkala today, resulting in no fewer than 8 militants being killed, RIA Novosti cites a source in the Dagestani law-enforcement agencies.

"The special operation is now continuing. The number of the militants reported killed will probably increase," said the source.
