Turkey's Erdogan blames al-Maliki for Iraqi crisis

Turkish Prime Minister Recept Tayyip Erdogan blames his Iraqi counterpart Nouri al-Maliki for the ongoing crisis in the northern part of Iraq, Azerbaijani news agency Trend cites the head of the Turkish cabinet as saying. 

According to Erdogan, the al-Maliki government persecuted Sunnis and thus caused the expansion of the radical Sunni Islamism in the country.
