New sanctions to be imposed on Russia, media say

New economic sanctions are expected to be imposed on Russia by western powers by the end of the week, Associated Press cites sources in the White House as saying. 

According to the news agency, the US and its European allies are now preparing a new round of sanctions and their work is almost finished.
