South Stream should be suspended, Oettinger says

The implementation of the South Stream gas pipeline project should be suspended, European Commissioner for Energy Günther Oettinger says. According to the EU official, the project violates European law and the necessary regulations.

A decision to suspend the project has recently been made by the Bulgarian authorities.
