Georgia ready to negotiate Abkhaz railway with Russia

Georgia is ready to discuss with Russia the possible resumption of a rail connection via the territory of the breakaway republic of Abkhazia, the Georgian prime minister's special representative Zurab Abashidze says.

"We ready to consider the resumption of a rail connection if Russia proves that this initiative is a serious one. There will however be some pre-conditions," the Georgian official is quoted as saying.
