Ukrainian president does not want anti-Russian sanctions

 

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko told CNN that has was opposed to U.S. and EU sanctions against Russia, ITAR-TASS reports.The president said that Russian citizens were in command of the rebels in the eastern part of the country. Poroshenko expressed readiness to use any opportunity, including cooperation with Russian authorities, to resolve the conflict in Ukraine peacefully.According to the Ukrainian leader, negotiations with the resistance will continue today. He expressed optimism and believes that an agreement may be reached in a few weeks or months.
