Abkhazia to respond to Georgia's association with EU

Georgian breakaway republic of Abkhazia is going to respond to Georgia's decision to sign an association agreement with the EU. According to presidential candidate and Acting Minister of Defense Merab Kishmaria, Abkhazia will defend its national interests and enhance economic ties with Russia in response to Georgia's European integration.

According to the official, the association agreement has an unofficial military undertone and threatens Abkhazia's security.
