Georgia to establish professional army by 2017, PM says
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaGeorgia is going to shift to a professional army by 2017, the country's Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said while addressing attendees of the international security conference held in Batumi.
The head of the Georgian cabinet also hailed the country's military as an influential social institution, which contributed much to Nato operations in Central Africa and Afghanistan.
