Protesters in Kyiv demand that president restarts military operation in Eastern Ukraine

Protesters gathered on Kyiv's Indepence Square or Maidan Nezalezhnosti are demanding that President Petro Poroshenko should restart a military operation against the pro-Russian rebels in Eastern regions of the country, Interfax reports.

President Poroshenko declared a ceasefire a week ago so that the rebels would have a chance to surrender.
